On December 4 at 12:00 p.m., the UNIAN Press Center will host a presentation of the All-Ukrainian Law Student Competition: “New Ukraine: A Security Treaty and Peace Through the Eyes of Young Lawyers”
The competition was created in partnership with the Law Institute of the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University and the National Bar Association of Ukraine, and its goal is to engage the most talented young lawyers in developing their own drafts of a Security Treaty for Ukraine.
This is Ukraine’s first law-making initiative of this scale, bringing together the academic community, the bar, and a new generation of lawyers who think in terms of the future architecture of peace.
Speakers include:
- Yuriy Radzievsky, Chair of the Information Committee of the UNAU, Partner at Barristers LLP
- Oleksiy Shevchuk, Chair of the Center for Legal Information, Professional Development, and Expert Research at the Law Institute of the Kyiv National Economic University, partner and spokesperson at Barristers LLP
