Iryna Hlovyuk, an attorney at Barristers Law Firm, Doctor of Law, and member of the Scientific and Advisory Council of the Supreme Court, visited the National Bar Association of Ukraine and the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of the Ukrainian Bar at the invitation of Oleksandr Drozdov.
On April 20, 2018, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legislative Support for Law Enforcement Activities held a regular meeting of Subgroup No. 1 to develop systemic amendments to the general provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The meeting was attended by Oleksandr Drozdov, Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Advocates, and Serhiy Vilkov, Chairman of the Committee on Pro Bono Legal Aid at the National Bar Association of Ukraine, as well as Iryna Hlovyuk, Ph.D. in Law,Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure at the National University “OYUA,” Iryna Hlovyuk.
The working group was led by Valerii Karpuntsov, a Member of Parliament and member of the Committee on Legislative Support for Law Enforcement Activities. The subgroup includes representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine, the Supreme Court of Ukraine, and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
In addition, at the invitation of Oleksandr Drozdov, Chair of the Bar’s Qualification and Disciplinary Commission, Iryna Hlovyuk visited the National Bar Association of Ukraine and the Bar’s Qualification and Disciplinary Commission.
