The "Barristers" Law Firm – Protecting Colleagues' Rights Against Unlawful Encroachments

The “Barristers” Law Firm is always committed to protecting the rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities. However, we also consider one of our most important tasks to be the protection of the rights and guarantees of lawyers themselves, who are most often subjected to unlawful pressure in connection with the performance of their professional duties.

Our colleagues—the attorneys of the “Privilege” Law Firm and the “Privilege” Legal Company—are currently facing precisely this kind of pressure; as well as their head, attorney Oleksandr Pogorilyi, who, while representing the interests of an Estonian investor, have encountered flagrant lawlessness in Zatoka.

Their effective defense of the investor’s rights and fight against criminal activity has only intensified the pressure on the attorneys of the “Privilege” Law Firm and “Privilege” Law Company, as well as on their head, attorney Oleksandr Pogorilyi, personally. At present, a questionable pre-trial investigation has been launched (ERDR No. 22019000000000112), the purpose of which is yet another “Mask Show”—against which Ukrainian society has been fighting unsuccessfully— — the initiation of illegal searches not only at the “Barristers” Law Firm and the European investor’s legal office.

Given that all of the above constitutes nothing less than unlawful interference in the activities of attorneys and an obstruction of their practice, the “Barristers” Law Firm emphasizes that it will always lend a helping hand and stand up for its colleagues. In this case, this refers to the “Privilege” Law Firm and its director, attorney Oleksandr Pogorilyi.
