“Russia is seizing…,” “squeezing out Ukraine…,” “blocking shipping….” The loud statements surrounding the situation in the Sea of Azov have given way to a lull in the news. It has been almost a year since the Ukrainian Navy ships *Donbas* and *Korets* successfully passed through the Kerch Strait and docked in Mariupol. Why did the next voyage for the Ukrainian sailors end in captivity, and what has changed in the Azov Sea over the past year?
