Boris Babin, Legal Advisor at Barristers LLP, participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic: “The Regional Dimension of Global Transformations”

Professor Boris Babin, a legal advisor at Barristers, took part in an expert discussion held in Odesa by the Estonian School of Diplomacy, the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, and Odesa National Mechnikov University on the regional dimension of global development.

The event was attended by scholars, practitioners, and diplomatic officials from Greece, China, Romania, Turkey, and other countries. Among other things, Boris Babin emphasized the importance of a proper legal definition of Ukraine’s maritime policy and the practical implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU in the southern part of the country; he also highlighted the importance of the current legal regime of the Black Sea for economic and social development in the region.
