Professor Boris Babin, a legal advisor at Barristers, LLC, was invited by the World Jurist Association (World Jurist Association, WJA) to participate in the 2019 World Congress of Jurists, which took place in Madrid on February 19–20 under the patronage of King Felipe VI of Spain.

The World Congress brought together more than two thousand representatives of legal scholarship and practice from all civilized countries around the world.

Professor Boris Babin participated in discussions on the topics of the congress panels “Democracy and Human Rights,” “Democracy and an Independent Judiciary,” “Legal Ethics, Sustainability, and Corporate Governance,” and “The Right to Defense: The Legal Profession and New Global and Local Balances,” and participated in the 21st International Congress on Comparative European Constitutional Law, “The External Dimension of the Rule of Law,” which took place as part of the World Congress.
