Elvira Lazarenko, a partner at Barristers, J.L.C., will speak at the accredited intensive course “Search and Seizure,” which will take place on January 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Legal High School.
Learn how to prepare yourself and your client for a search during the accredited intensive course “Search,” which will take place on January 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at Legal High School.
A search is perhaps the only investigative action that law enforcement officers can conduct coercively—that is, without consent and, in some cases, without the participation of the person, property, or premises subject to the search. At the same time, investigators will always have a physical advantage over office staff, let alone the suspect’s relatives.
Event Agenda:
- Grounds, timing, and procedural rules for conducting a search. A court order as a prerequisite for a search.
- Preparing the client, employees, and immediate circle for the search.
- Effective communication with the media during and after the search.
- The attorney’s actions during and after the search—speaker Elvira Lazarenko, partner at the “Barristers” Law Firm.
The event is accredited by the Ukrainian National Bar Association (NAAU).
By completing this intensive course, you have the opportunity to earn 3 attorney credits.
Credits are awarded for completing the training in the following formats: in-person sessions, online access, and video recordings.
To successfully earn attorney credits, you must complete the registration process (instructions for which will be provided separately) and pass a test at the end of the course.
Certification does not apply to tickets purchased through promotional offers or prior to the event’s accreditation.
