On November 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., as part of the School of Criminal Practice, an intensive workshop will be held on the trial of criminal cases involving corruption offenses.

Practice leaders will discuss common mistakes made by investigators during the pretrial investigation that can lay the groundwork for an acquittal, potential violations of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, and the potential influence of the public on participants in court proceedings.

Specifically, the following topics will be covered:

• Prospects for complaints filed with the ECHR by officials

• Acquittal due to lack of evidence in corruption crimes. A verdict on the investigation?
