International Criminal Law Forum

The intersections between judicial reform and criminal procedure, the challenges facing criminal justice in the context of the fight against corruption, criminal proceedings with a foreign element, and many other topics were discussed at the Criminal Law Forum, which took place on April 5, 2019.

During the forum’s second session, “Criminal Proceedings with a Foreign Element,” attorney and research advisor at BARRISTERS Law Firm, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor Mykola Pashkovsky, told forum participants about the top reasons for refusing extradition, as well as the criteria for refusing extradition on political grounds.
