Summary of the Center’s Activities for the Fourth Quarter of 2025.

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Center for Legal Information, Professional Development, and Expert Research at the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU) Law Institute actively collaborated with university departments, stakeholders, and Ukrainian and international partners.

 Expert review of the draft Code of Ukraine on the Protection of Statehood, Independence, and the Status of Defenders of the State (No. 14265) has begun, particularly with regard to ensuring the rights of veterans.

 With the support of the National Bar Association of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Law-Making Initiatives “New Ukraine Through the Eyes of Young Lawyers” was launched, dedicated to drafting a security treaty for Ukraine.

 The contest regulations, which define the procedure for conducting the contest and the criteria for evaluating entries, have been developed and approved.

A presentation of the contest was held at the UNIAN press center with the participation of the leadership of KNEU, the Law Institute, and representatives of the UNAU.

 Working meetings and discussions were held with leading Ukrainian and international political, diplomatic, and human rights figures regarding the formation of the Competition Commission and the expert evaluation of student projects.
