A presentation of the book by ARMA Chair Olena Duma—*ARMAgeddon for Corrupt Officials: The Shadows of Big Money*—took place in the auditorium of the Main Building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
“ARMA—the Agency for the Search and Management of Assets—is an example of a reform carried out using our own resources. In real time. During the war. Without a single international grant. This is a book about choice. About a team. Unvarnished—because there can be no gray areas for us, only clear decisions in the country’s best interests,” the author noted.
Every copy of the book purchased means 30 books for schools in frontline regions.
Among the guests of honor at the presentation was Oleksiy Shevchuk, spokesperson for the National Bar Association of Ukraine and partner at Barristers Law Firm.
In his remarks, he congratulated the head of ARMA on the publication, which serves as a kind of almanac of the Agency’s team’s activities over the past two years.
He also assured the audience that the legal community is ready to support the state’s efforts in the fight against corruption—in particular, to help identify loopholes in schemes related to the aggressor’s business and the evasion of proper asset management.
