An audiobook offers just such an option: you certainly shouldn’t always prefer it over a printed book, but turning to it when needed—while pushing a stroller, running errands, falling asleep in the dark, or eating lunch on the go—is perfectly acceptable.

Various studies by British and American scientists have shown that this method of delivering educational material reduces the time needed to memorize information by up to 30%.
