At the initiative of partners at Barristers, LLC, the court ordered an investigation into the allegations of violence against Nadiya Savchenko
As you know, on June 22, 2018, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv denied the motion to change the preventive measure from pretrial detention to house arrest for Ukrainian People’s Deputy Nadiya Savchenko, which was filed by partners at Barristers LLP: Oleksandr Shadrin, Kostyantyn Hloba, and Andriy Levkovets.
However, the court ordered the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine to immediately investigate the facts regarding acts of violence committed while Nadiya Savchenko was in custody.
