Crimes Against the Foundations of National Security: Current Issues and Judicial Practice
Following the outbreak of full-scale Russian aggression, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine introduced a series of amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, refining the provisions of the Special Part of the Code that establish criminal liability for crimes against the foundations of Ukraine’s national security.
For this reason, to summarize the practice of applying these provisions and discuss the latest developments, Barristers LLP, in cooperation with the publishing house Yuridichna Praktika, organized a roundtable meeting of experts on the topic: “Crimes Against the Foundations of National Security. Current Issues and Judicial Practice.”
Members of Parliament, Supreme Court justices, representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Office of the Prosecutor General, international experts, partners from leading law firms, and business representatives have been invited to participate in the discussion.
