A meeting of the working group on the development of legal education, part of the Commission on Legal Reform under the President of Ukraine, was held in the Central Building of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University in Kharkiv.

The meeting analyzed various aspects of legal education reform and the progress made in this area.

Participants reviewed the key provisions of the Concept for the Development of Legal Education, developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The prospects for improving the organization of the Unified Professional Entrance Test and the Unified Entrance Exam were discussed, as well as the introduction of the Unified State Qualification Exam in the specializations “Law” and “International Law.”

The prospects for the self-organization of law schools to improve the quality of legal education were examined.
