Barristers secured the release of a British citizen from custody

The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv granted the complaint filed by attorney Elvira Lazarenko and ordered the immediate release from custody of British businessman John D., who had been detained pending extradition.

The judge ruled that the detention of the British national was unlawful.

As a reminder, British investor John D. is seeking protection in Ukraine from persecution in his home country.
