Barristers, JSC participated in the "VII NLU Moot Court Competition," a mock trial simulating proceedings before the International Court of Justice

Barristers, JSC is one of the few law firms with a practice in international criminal law. As such, it is pleased to support educational events aimed at helping students develop practical skills in applying the knowledge they have acquired.

Barristers, represented by Partner Oleksandr Shadrin and Associate Partner Elvira Lazarenko, was invited to the VII NLU Moot Court Competition, organized by the International Law Club of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University on June 2, 2018, at the Scientific Library of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

This competition is conducted in English and simulates a trial before the International Court of Justice. This year’s case concerns the right to a fair trial. The goal of the competition is to promote international law and judicial debate, as well as to develop students’ professional and academic skills.
