The TENTH Annual Open Rapid Chess Tournament “Lawyers’ Tour – 2024” in Honor of Ukrainian Lawyers’ Day

Dear fellow attorneys! On December 14, 2024, we invite you to the TENTH Annual Open Chess Tournament “Lawyers’ Tour 2024,” dedicated to Ukrainian Lawyers’ Day. This year’s tournament promises to be special, as we are celebrating an anniversary—10 years of chess battles among the best lawyers!

Tournament Sponsors:

The tournament is organized under the patronage of the Odesa Regional Bar Association, the “Barristers” Law Firm, and the Sokalyuk Law Office, with the support of the Odesa Regional Chess Federation.

The “Barristers” Law Firm has sponsored this event for 10 consecutive years, as the legal profession and chess are a combination of intellect, strategy, and honor—qualities that always go hand in hand.

⏱️ Format: Swiss system, 15 minutes per game for each participant

🏆 Tournament arbiter: International Grandmaster Mykhailo Golubev

Number of participants: up to 20 people

Awards: Winners will receive special prizes and awards from the Odesa Regional Bar Association and our sponsors.

Coffee breaks and opportunities for lively conversation between games await participants, fans, and guests.

Charity: The tournament has a charitable purpose—during the event, funds will be raised for the needs of the Odessa Regional Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Center, specifically to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Organizational fee: 💵 600 UAH (the majority of the fee goes toward supporting volunteer initiatives).
