Counseling for Families of Service Members

In accordance with the agreements reached with the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders, on February 19, 2023, attorneys from the "Barristers" Law Firm Andrii Yosypov, Marisa Skuba, and legal counsel Serhii Lankin held a meeting with the families of military personnel.
During the meeting, they provided consultations on the following issues:
▪️ receiving financial assistance and a list of social benefits and guarantees available to military personnel and their relatives;
▪️ establishing through court proceedings the fact of cohabitation with a service member without marriage and the fact of the service member’s death;
▪️ communicating with law enforcement and other authorities while a service member is held captive by the enemy.
Given the high volume of requests for legal assistance, our attorneys will continue to provide these consultations. Any military personnel and their relatives may join these meetings—upon prior registration.
