Student Competition in International Criminal Law

On April 20, 2019, Boris Babin and Mykola Pashkovsky, legal advisors at the “Barristers” Law Firm, joined experienced practitioners and academics from Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv to serve on the panel of judges for the Third National Moot Court Competition on International Criminal Law, held at the Law Faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Six student teams from leading Ukrainian universities, selected based on the results of the written round, participated in the competition.

On behalf of Barristers Law Firm, as a partner of the National Moot Court Competition, a special incentive prize was awarded to a representative of the team from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; and the team from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv emerged as the tournament winners.
