Iryna Hlovyuk and Mykola Pashkovsky, legal advisors at BARRISTERS, took part in the "Defender" project.

The "ZAKHISNYK" project is being implemented by the non-governmental organization "10th of April" with the support of the Council of Europe from August 22, 2018, to January 22, 2019.

The main goal of the project is to improve access to justice for vulnerable groups.

Mykola Pashkovsky—Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, and Legal Advisor at BARRISTERS, LLC, and a member of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Supreme Court of Ukraine—participated in an international seminar on “Access to Justice for Vulnerable Groups in Criminal Cases in the Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa Regions” and delivered a presentation on international standards for the protection of human rights in criminal proceedings.
