Alexander Shadrin, a partner at Barristers, LLC, and Alexander Tananakin, an attorney at Barristers, LLC, will lead lectures for the course “Indictment: Preliminary Proceedings” at the Legal High School’s School of Criminal Practice.

After completing the lecture series on “Indictment. Preliminary Proceedings” at the Legal High School of Criminal Practice, you will learn why attorneys should not neglect active participation during the preliminary hearing stage and how the results of their work at this stage can facilitate the defense during the trial.

The lecturers—including attorneys, judges, and prosecutors—will conduct 18 sessions during which every aspect of the criminal process will be examined in detail: from informing the suspect of the indictment to the court’s decision on whether the case is ready to proceed to trial. We have specifically set aside one day for lectures on how to handle the disclosure of evidence by each party.

The module will take place from April 8 to 13 in the mornings.
In total, the block consists of six modules (days), each with three lectures—more than 20 hours of intensive training in the following areas:
