The second ELSA International Summer School on Armed Conflicts and International Security was held in Kyiv from July 21 to 28.
Participants from 13 countries gained theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of “Humanitarian Law,” “Law of Armed Conflict,” and “International Security Law.”
On July 25, Boris Babin, a legal advisor at BARRISTERS Law Firm, delivered a lecture on international criminal law and liability for war crimes to participants of the second ELSA International Summer School on the Law of Armed Conflict and International Security (Summer ELSA Law School Kyiv on the Law of Armed Conflict and International Security), which took place this week at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The audience showed great interest in issues of liability for crimes committed in Ukraine by the aggressor state since 2014.
