On May 26, 2026, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv granted in full the lawsuit filed by Marina Khonda, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration for the Exercise of Self-Government Powers, seeking protection of her honor, dignity, and professional reputation.

The court ruled that the information posted by Maksym Lavrynenko and Trukha Ukraine LLC on March 21 and 22, 2025, on the Telegram channels “Trukha Kyiv” and “Trukha Ukraine” regarding Marina Khonda, and ordered them to retract it. In these posts, Marina Khonda was effectively accused of organizing a corruption scheme involving the embezzlement of 60 million hryvnias from the Kyiv city budget.

Despite Maksym Lavrynenko’s denials regarding his dissemination of the disputed information and the fact that he owned the Telegram channels “Truha Kyiv” and “Truha Ukraine,” the court, taking into account numerous interviews with Maksym Lavrynenko, in which he admitted to being the owner of the aforementioned Telegram channels, as well as information from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individuals, and Foreign Economic Activities, ruled that Maksym Lavrynenko and “Truha Ukraine” LLC were the proper defendants in the case.

The court ordered Maksym Lavrynenko and “Truha Ukraine” LLC to publish appropriate retractions of the false information regarding Maryna Khonda on the Telegram channels “Truha Kyiv” and “Truha Ukraine.”
