The defense team for Dmytro Ryumshyn, former commander of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Anna Kyivska,” succeeded in getting the court to deny the prosecutor’s motion to extend the term of his procedural obligations.

The defense is being handled by a team led by Andriy Yosypov, a partner at Barristers LLP.

According to Andriy Yosypov, following the court proceedings, the prosecutor’s motion was denied. Consequently, Dmytro Ryumshyn is currently not subject to any procedural obligations.

Over the course of two years of litigation, the defense has gone from having the client held in pretrial detention and subject to multi-million bail requirements to the lifting of all existing procedural restrictions.

In the defense’s view, the court’s refusal to extend the procedural obligations indicates that there are insufficient grounds for the continued application of such restrictions against Dmytro Ryumshin.

Barristers, LLC continues to represent the client’s interests and ensure the protection of his rights and legitimate interests.
