On February 24, 2025, the Dnipro District Court of Kyiv granted the complaint filed by Mykola Yuriyovych Povooznik, First Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, against Maksym Isanovych Bakhmatov to protect his honor, dignity, and professional reputation.

This court decision once again found the information disseminated by M.I. Bakhmatov regarding M.Y. Povooznik in a video titled “We’re Already at Rock Bottom in a Deep Shit: Natalia Moseychuk – Maxim Bakhmatov,” published on January 27, 2024, on the “Natalia Moseychuk” YouTube channel.

M.I. Bakhmatov is ordered, no later than five days from the date the decision takes legal effect, to refute the aforementioned false information by posting a retraction on the social network Facebook on the user profile “Maksym Bakhmatov (Icebreaker)” a retraction titled “Retraction of False Information Regarding Mykola Yuriyovych Povoroznyk.”

The key argument put forward by Barristers partner Elvira Lazarenko and attorneys Ivanna Chernyi and Dmytro Zelenyuk, acting as representatives of the Plaintiff, was that B.I. Bakhmatov was fully aware of the inaccuracy of the statements he made, yet he knowingly took actions that violated the client’s rights to respect for his honor, dignity, and business reputation.
