The High Anti-Corruption Court has partially overturned the obligations imposed on Andriy Odarchenko
The High Anti-Corruption Court considered the Prosecutor General’s motion to extend the obligations imposed on People’s Deputy Andriy Odarchenko in connection with the application of a preventive measure in the form of bail.
The defense insisted on the need to lift the obligations not to leave the city of Kyiv without the permission of an investigator, prosecutor, or court, and to wear an electronic monitoring device, justifying its position by citing the questionable legal classification of the charges and the lack of evidence confirming the continued existence of risks.
Following its review of the motion, the High Anti-Corruption Court took the defense’s arguments into account and lifted the obligations imposed on Andriy Odarchenko to wear an electronic ankle monitor and to remain in Kyiv.
