The event, organized by the Ukrainian Young Lawyers’ Council and the European University, brought together practicing attorneys, academics, and students to discuss current issues in criminal procedure.
The training program covered:
Actual judicial practice and case studies in criminal proceedings; Global trends and challenges in criminal proceedings in 2025; Challenges and issues faced by attorneys at all stages of the criminal process; Developing strategies, defense tactics, and formulating a legal position; Practical aspects of a lawyer’s work during pretrial investigations and court proceedings;
Professional communication and the exchange of experience contribute to raising the standards of the legal profession and strengthening guarantees for the protection of human rights.
