The Barristers team attended a legal startup competition!
On October 21, as part of a collaboration between the Barristers Law Firm and the Legal Design Lab NGO under the USAID “Justice for All” Program, attorney Serhiy Lankin presented the competition’s judging panel.
At the event, the judges were also presented with legal startup projects that had been developed by students in the Legal Design Lab course over the past four months, following recommendations from their mentors.
In particular, during the event, students presented “YurKarabin,” an interactive reference platform for military personnel and their families, which includes answers to the most important questions faced by defenders of the homeland.
The project presented by the team of the same name, “Barristers,” received a “Social Responsibility” nomination from the judges.
Future plans include integrating the project to provide free legal assistance to the association’s clients.
